Killerton Pavilion

Killerton Pavilion

Community Projects

This project was a joint instruction by the National Trust and Broadclyst Cricket Club. With a very tight budget we were tasked with providing a design that was simple but provided modern day facilities and utilised timber from the Killerton estate.

The design used rude timber sections, that would otherwise have been thrown away. This type of cladding can be found on other out buildings on the Killerton estate. In addition sawn timber shingles were used on the roof. Timber louvre/shutters were added to the windows that faced towards the pitch to protect them from cricket balls but, also offer a dual purpose as sun shades.
